Assistive Technology & Equipment
We assess and recommend assistive technology and adaptive equipment to support independence, safety, and comfort at home. This includes mobility aids, seating, bathroom and kitchen supports, and other customised solutions.
Home Modifications
From grab rails and ramps to full bathroom or access redesigns, we deliver evidence-based recommendations to meet individual needs and ensure compliance with DVA and national standards. Our reports assist in obtaining funding and builder coordination.

Dementia care at home
We offer support, education, and guidance for individuals with dementia and their carers, focusing on enhancing daily participation, improving safety, and developing strategies for managing the progression of the disease.

Mobility Assessment
We evaluate how clients move and function within their environment to identify barriers, reduce fall risk, and enhance participation in everyday activities. Recommendations may include equipment, exercises, or home layout changes.
Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP)
Judy- Ann Emberson proudly provides services to DVA Health Card holders, offering both short-term support for specific needs and ongoing care as part of a comprehensive health plan. We accept DVA Gold and White Health Cards as payment with a referral from your GP or hospital.

Through the DVA Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP), eligible veterans can access a wide range of assistive products and services designed to support independence and improve quality of life.

These include:

Assistive Aids – Mobility scooters, manual and powered wheelchairs, hospital beds, lift chairs, wheeled walkers, hoists, and showering or toileting aids.

Personal Hygiene Aids – Continence products (disposable and reusable) and bidets

Therapeutic Aids – Compression stockings and upper limb/hand therapy products.

Home Modifications – Handrails, bathroom and toilet modifications, and entrance adjustments to enhance safety and accessibility.
