I welcome referrals from GPs, specialists, aged care providers, support coordinators, case managers, and private individuals. Whether you are seeking a one-off assessment or ongoing support, we work collaboratively to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.

Information from DVA regarding OT services:
Who can receive it
You may be able to receive OT if you have an assessed clinical need and a:
Veteran Gold Card; or
Veteran White Card and the treatment is for a condition covered by your card
What you can receive
If you are eligible for OT, your therapist may:

work out a treatment plan with you to suit your needs

help you adjust your home or work setting to your needs

help you improve your mental and physical skills; and
-
provide you with aids to make your tasks easier
How you access

Get a referral to an OT from (D0904 - DVA Referral):
your general practitioner (GP), a medical specialistyour treating doctor in hospital; or a hospital discharge planner -
Contact the OT to make an appointment. Confirm they will accept your Veteran Gold Card or Veteran White Card for their services.

About My Aged Care:
My Aged Care is a government-funded program designed to support older Australians in accessing aged care services and support to help them live independently and stay connected to their communities.
Occupational Therapy (OT) plays a crucial role within My Aged Care by providing tailored interventions and support to enhance the well-being and independence of older adults.
